1. scope of application
(1) The company Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) offers the mobile app Rekening, which allows users to scan, create and manage receipts. By using the Rekening App, you accept the following general terms and conditions (“GTC”). These terms and conditions are deemed to be agreed unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing or mandated by law. The GTC apply in the version current at the time of the Rekening download.
(2) These GTC regulate the contractual relationship between Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) and the natural and legal persons (hereinafter “Users”) who use the Rekening App.
(3) In addition, you shall not disclose your password for iTunes to third parties, for misuse, e.g. for any unauthorized in-app purchases by third parties with your password and the resulting claims, you are liable according to the legal provisions.
(4) We reserve the right to change these GTC with effect for the future according to the following procedure: For this purpose, we will notify you in advance of the intended changes by e-mail and inform you of your right to object. The changes shall be deemed accepted if you do not object within one month after notification of the change.
2. services and subject matter
(1) The company Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Burgdorfer Straße 2, 30938 Burgwedel, provides via the Rekening App for users: the management of receipts, the scanning of receipts, the grouping of receipts and the exporting of receipts.
(2) The Rekening App can be installed free of charge. The Rekening App provides them with basic document scanning and management functions. After installing the app, these free functions are available to them. Optionally, additional functions (e.g. search, AI scan, export, design customizations), which fall into the category “Premium Version”, can be purchased for an additional fee.
(3) The Rekening App may display advertisements to the User, which may be deactivated for a fee.
(4) The Rekening App may change the fees for the Service or any function of the Service, related only to future, not to past conditions, at any time.
(5) The Rekening App does not guarantee and is not liable for the correctness of the data read out with the help of artificial intelligence.
(5) In case of an active Premium subscription, the scan is sent to the Taggun.io service via a service to read out information about the invoice. Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) reserves the right to store the data without direct user assignment, to change the service for reading out data at any time and, if possible, to run it directly on the user’s terminal device in order to improve the service.
3 Warranty and Exclusion of Warranty
(1) Under the usage agreement with the Rekening App Users, Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) shall only be liable for intent and gross negligence, cases of injury to life, body or health, as well as in the case of mandatory statutory provisions for itself and all legal representatives, executives and vicarious agents.
(2) In all other cases, the liability of Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) shall be excluded.
(3) In the event of a breach of cardinal or essential contractual obligations, the obligation to pay compensation shall in each case be limited to the foreseeable damage.
(4) The company Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) provides the Rekening App in the form and with the functions that are currently available. There is no claim to the provision or maintenance of certain functions. No guarantee is given with regard to the availability of the system. It may be temporarily restricted due to maintenance work or for other reasons in whole or in part, e.g. with regard to individual functions (“limited availability”). Liability for the consequences of limited availability – regardless of the type and reason – is excluded.
(5) Depeur UG (haftungsbeschränkt) shall not be liable for the completeness, correctness or availability of data entered or made available by third parties.

(1) These GTC as well as the use of the Services are governed by German law with the exception of its conflict of law provisions.
